If you have any questions about your studies or problems with lecturers or courses, we are here to help you.

Our consultation hour
Maths Café
Once a week, you can meet up with other maths students over free coffee, tea and cake at our Maths Café. We are also there and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
In the winter semester 2024/2025, the Maths Café will take place every Thursday from 12.00 to 13.30 in the TNF-Kammerl .
Regular exchange
Regulars' table
Once a month, together with the Student Unions for Physics&MoBi, Teaching and NaWi-Tec, we invite you to a regulars' table in one of the pubs on campus.
There you can easily get to know other maths students over a cool drink or simply round off the evening with your fellow students after a busy day at university.
The first drink is on us -
so it's definitely worth a visit!

Celebrate together
Welcome party & StV barbecue
The beginning of the academic year needs to be celebrated!
That's why we're inviting you and the department's teaching staff to the welcome party on October 16th, 2024 in the Mensakeller.
By free food and drinks, you can chat with fellow students and lecturers in a relaxed atmosphere.
But we won't let you down in the summer semester either!
Before the exam stress begins, you can relax with cool drinks and delicious grilled food at the student union barbecue and enjoy the evening with fellow students.
Of course, we also offer vegetarian and vegan options at both events.

In the summer semester, when it gets wonderfully warm outside and the campus invites you to linger in comfort, we would like to give us all a cosy afternoon.
