The Department of International Affairs (REFI) has set itself the goal of giving exchange students an unforgettable time in Linz and promoting intercultural exchange between Austrian JKU students and exchange students.
The mentoring programme is an opportunity for Austrian students to get to know foreign cultures and to come into direct contact with the exchange students. They benefit from getting to know Austrians and receiving support during their first time in Austria.
The REFI also organises a variety of events to liven up the grey everyday university life for the exchange students. These include trips to Prague, Budapest or Kaprun, pub crawls in Linz's old town and various parties at the LUI. The REFI is integrated into the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) and is part of the ÖH JKU.
