Save money with the free Microsoft Office package

Thanks to the efforts of the ÖH JKU, it has been possible for students to acquire the Office 365 ProPlus package for free since 2016!

What does this mean for you?

The free package currently includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote and Outlook.
All these programmes will probably make your studies a lot easier and, above all, this offer is easy on your wallet.

You can also practise using them, which will certainly help you in your professional career.
Incidentally, the licence allows you to install and use Microsoft Office including updates on up to 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets and 5 smartphones!
Office 365 ProPlus also includes "OneDrive for Business", which allows you to store data in the Microsoft cloud.

Please note: This is not a JKU cloud solution, so this service may not be used to store JKU business documents. However, you are free to use OneDrive for Business for private purposes only.

How can you do this?

To download the Microsoft Office package for free, you need to register for a Moodle course. There you will receive instructions on how to create an account on the Microsoft Online Portal.
