ÖH JKU's Statutes ("Satzung") contain internal guidelines to foster collaboration between members of ÖH JKU. Given that it is a legal document, its contents are rather dry, but really important for our work: Among other things, they lay out which departments exist, how meetings are structured and which duties ÖH JKU's head has to perform.
The Statutes can be changed during meetings of the University Representation with a two-third majority (with some legal restrictions).
The Financial Regulations ("Gebarungsordnung" or "GebO" for short) extends the Statutes and is enacted by ÖH JKU's Head. Usuall, our Department for Economic Affairs is also involved: The GebO mostly regulates how payments etc. work within ÖH JKU.
Other than these financial aspects, it also contains rules on speech, corporate identity etc. - in short, everything an organisation like ÖH JKU with its 400+ volunteers needs to run smoothly.
The Statutes and Financial Regulations don't change very often. Other than these two documents, the University Representation constantly decides on various other measures, however, which might, for examle, limit the decisions its Head can take.
A list of all such Standing Orders and further documents on the University Representation can be found on a seperate page - there, you'll also learn how you can tune it to live debates when changes are discussed.
