Who are we?

Welcome to the website of the Plastics Technology & Mechanical Engineering Student Union!

We are your representatives for the Plastics Technology and Mechanical Engineering degree programmes at the JKU Linz and are here to advise you. If you have any questions about the programmes, please contact us. Furthermore, we are in constant dialogue with the institutes and are constantly trying to improve the degree programme. Therefore get in touch with us if you have any problems with lecturers, courses or the structure of the degree programme.

OUR CONSULTATION HOUR

Plastics Technology & Mechanical Engineering Café

We are personally available once a week at our Plastics Technology & Mechanical Engineering Café, where you can ask us questions about your studies or simply drop by for free coffee and cake.

In the winter semester 2024/25, the café will take place every Monday from 13:45 to 15:15 in the TNF-Kammerl .

Important events

Regulars' tables

Once a month, we invite you, together with the VKT, to a regulars' table in one of the pubs on campus.

There you can easily get to know other plastics technology and mechanical engineering students over a cool drink or simply round off the evening with your fellow students after a busy day at university.

By the way: the first drink is on us - so it's definitely worth stopping by!

Welcome Party/StV barbecue

Every year, a party is organised together with the plastics engineers, mechanical engineers and medical engineers once a semester, where chemists from all semesters meet. This is the Kükenfest in autumn and a barbecue in June. We look forward to seeing you there in large numbers.
