Reporting to the Head of Software Development, this role will architect and develop our cloud-based requirements management platform.

The role - your responsibilities

• Responsible for the conception and development of complex cloud-based software solutions
• Lead the development of Kontrol's compliance platform, ensuring seamless integration with regulatory standards and industry requirements.
• Modify and improve current cloud infrastructure and leverage cloud platforms to enhance platform scalability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and maintain both frontend and backend components of the platform.
• Utilize expertise to implement robust and scalable solutions for frontend and backend functionalities.
• Apply experience in database management to optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
• Keep up to date on any failures or issues that arise as a result of a cloud service
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into platform development.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance platform functionality, user experience, safety & security, and development processes.

Your personal qualifications and attributes

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or HTL Diploma
• Proven experience (at least 4 years) as a Fullstack Developer with advanced proficiency in both frontend and backend development.
• 2 years of experience building and operating cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong command of JavaScript programming language and associated frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Node.js).
• Expertise in database management systems (e.g., SQL and data modeling concepts)
• Experience working in agile development structures
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Business-fluent language skills in English and German
• Travel availability for client meetings, presentations and company events
• Preferred: Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment
