We are looking for an Institute Officer to join the team of the Institute for Women's and Gender Studies at the Johannes Kepler University from the beginning of September.
Applicants for whom only a later starting date is possible will also be considered. Please let us know your earliest possible starting date.
Your tasks:
- General secretarial tasks of a university institute (coordination of appointments, correspondence in German and English, travel planning, etc.)
- Organisation of courses and examinations
- Contact person for students
- Preparation and revision of presentation documents and written versions of lectures
- Support in the administration of research projects as well as preparation and realisation of project accounts
- Administration of the institute budget, budget monitoring and control using SAP
- Administration of the special library (book orders/loans/returns/interlibrary loan)
- Updating the institute's website
Your profile:
- A-levels
- Excellent knowledge of standard software and word processing on a PC (especially MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet)
- Very good written and spoken German and English (German level C1, English level B2)
- Knowledge of office organisation
- Independent and problem-solving orientated way of working as well as personal responsibility
- Pleasure in dealing with people, ability to work in a team, friendly demeanour
- SAP or accounting knowledge is an advantage
