Requirements
--Completion of a higher technical education (HTL/FH/University) or apprenticeship in the field of software development, computer science, electrical engineering or similar
Experience with C and C++ programming
--Object-oriented programming
--Fundamental knowledge of hardware-related aspects in MuC programming (I2C, SPI, analog/digital inputs, etc.)
--English skills on a professional-level
--Work permit in EU
--At least one day in the office (Linz) per week
Responsibilities
--Prototyping of experimental firmware features
--Testable, maintainable and extensible implementation of production-grade features
--Maintenance of and improvements to the existing firmware
--Development of tooling for (unit / integration / system) testing and deployment of the firmware
--Development of unit / integration / system tests of the firmware
--Contributions to interface definitions to other departments (frontend, production, etc.)
--Contributions to effort/resource estimations of feature roadmaps and features for specific customers
--Ongoing self-training on state-of-the-art trends for firmware development
--Training and companionship for new employees
--Review of new and existing software (buddy programming)
Desired skills
--Experience with Nordic (nrf52) and Arduino SDKs/Frameworks
--Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy
--German language knowledge and/or willingness to learn
--Software versioning tools (git)
--Project management tools

Our offer
--Part-time employment with 20 hours per week
--Flexible working hours: Monday to Friday, 6 AM – 8 PM, with a flexible home office arrangement
--We offer a minimum salary of €3,200 gross based on full-time employment. A higher salary is possible depending on your qualifications and professional experience
